Hetzner is the best price-to-performance cloud provider in Europe, period. A Hetzner CCX33 dedicated CPU server (8 vCPUs, 32 GB RAM, 240 GB NVMe) costs a fraction of equivalent AWS or Azure instances, making it the go-to choice for compute-heavy workloads, self-hosted databases, high-traffic APIs, and development infrastructure where raw performance per euro matters most. Hellenic Technologies has operated Hetzner infrastructure for clients across Greece and the EU since its cloud product launched. Hetzner’s dedicated server line (Root Servers and Server Auction) provides bare-metal performance at cloud pricing. For latency-sensitive applications or workloads requiring consistent CPU performance without noisy-neighbour effects, dedicated Hetzner hardware outperforms most cloud provider “burstable” instances at a significantly lower monthly cost.
