Every analytics engagement begins with a clear process designed to minimise disruption, surface quick wins, and deliver a production-ready tracking stack that your team can own. From the first call to final handoff, you always know exactly where we are and what comes next. Our onboarding follows a five-phase workflow that adapts to your tech stack, data maturity, and business goals. Whether you are launching a new GA4 implementation from scratch or migrating a complex legacy setup, the process is the same — structured, documented, and quality-gated at every step. The five phases:
  1. Tracking audit — We review your existing tags, GA4 or UA property, GTM containers, data layer, and consent setup. We document what is working, what is broken, what is missing, and what is creating compliance risk.
  2. Strategy and scoping — Based on the audit findings, we define the target event schema, conversion goals, data layer spec, and consent mode configuration. You approve the full measurement plan before any implementation begins.
  3. Implementation — We build the GTM container, configure GA4, set up server-side tagging if in scope, and instrument all agreed events. All work is version-controlled and deployed to a staging environment first.
  4. QA and validation — Every tag is validated against the measurement plan using GTM Preview, GA4 DebugView, and our internal QA checklist. We verify consent mode firing, eCommerce data accuracy, and cross-domain tracking if applicable.
  5. Handoff and training — We document the full implementation, walk your team through the GTM workspace and GA4 property, and provide a recorded walkthrough. Ongoing support retainers are available for teams that need continued data governance.
What you need to get started:
  • GTM container access (or we can create one)
  • GA4 property access (or we create and configure from scratch)
  • Website CMS or developer access for data layer and tag deployment
  • Clarity on your key conversion events and reporting goals
